Strategy Management TechnologiesHello, my name is Douglas Swallow and I am the founder of Strategy Management Technologies (SMT). I develop and market business management products for the reduction of risk, increase in sales, and elimination of employee problems. For 26 years, I have focused on identifying the management tools and paradigms that allow companies to perform at the highest levels with the least amount of risk. I have developed a toolkit and collection of paradigms that empower companies to perform better and I would like to share it with you and your organization. At the root of all my technologies is the concept of organizational genetics and discovery of the template for the sequencing of the organizational genetic code. In the spring of 2000, it was discovered the strategic platform on which all organizations operate is identical in structure and function to the genetic structure of all living organisms. Genetic structure, as with all living organisms, defines a species, dictates its health, sets its performance capability, and largely determines the degree and frequency of problems it will experience. Now through the application of the principles of biotechnology and genetic engineering, we can engineer any company’s or organization’s genetic structure for superior results. The genetic code of all organizations is comprised of 12 major genes or building blocks. The number of core strategies that make-up an individual gene varies by industry, sector, segment, niche, and customer value proposition. Within each gene there are six dependent variables: strategy, processes, personnel, leadership, tools to perform the job, and internal environment. The independent variable is degree of market competitiveness. The level to which the six dependent variables in a gene are in alignment with each other and the relative degree of market competitiveness dictates its performance level. The level to which all 12 genes are in alignment with each other and the relative degree of market competitiveness dictates the level at which the organization will perform. The discovery of this technology has provided me with the extraordinary ability to physically show my clients their DNA, where they are at risk, and where they are particularly strong, and share with them the paradigms which have enabled others to consistently produce superior results. It also provides them a tool for mapping their competitors DNA, identifying emerging best practices, and keeping their DNA in perfect alignment with market. The bottom line is companies no longer need to be born with superior DNA to be a top performer. They no longer have to operate at unusually high levels of risk. They no longer have to have performance inhibiting levels of employee problems or worry about innovation. Because the technology, for the first time in history, now exists that allows us to see an organization’s DNA, quantify its performance capability, and reengineering it for the consistent production of superior results. The importance of having this technology and its supporting paradigms cannot be understated. Since 1980, 43% or 215 of the Fortune 500 companies listed in that year are no longer in business and 71% are no longer on the list. Despite having superior financial backing, the best products in the market, superior staffs and industry leading management, as well as, the best processes and tools for their employees they failed. Why? Because the leadership did not have two things: ability to see how and where their genetic code was drifting out of alignment with its environment and competitors and the strategy management technology to correct the drift. Had they had these two tools virtually every one of them would be here today. The level of risk at which your company operates, level of results it achieves, and the amount of employee problems it experiences is determined by the quality of its genetic code and the paradigms which drive it. If you and your organization would like to reduce the level of risk at which operates and discovery how to optimize its performance call me, Douglas Swallow at (702) 341-8500 or email me at doug@bizstrategytools.com
